Each member of our leadership team brings a unique story, but we’re aligned by the same goal—to help Loan Officers thrive by making their process smoother, faster, and more reliable from start to finish.
Sean Templeton
Before co-founding Summit Processing, Sean spent eight years rising through the ranks of the corporate banking world—holding leadership positions across service, sales, and technology.
But despite the career growth, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing. Too often, he saw systems designed for institutional convenience, not client success. He stepped away from that world determined to build something different.
The mortgage broker space offered Sean a clearer path to that vision.
Working closely with both a high-producing Loan Officer and an expert Processing Manager, he developed a hands-on understanding of how exceptional service and operational precision can—and should—work together. Still, he found that even many third-party processing shops were repeating the same old mistakes: rigid systems, impersonal workflows, and a lack of adaptability.
That’s what inspired the founding of Summit Processing. Alongside Scott Hesemann, Sean set out to create a company where competent service isn’t just expected—it’s personalized. Where speed doesn’t come at the cost of care. And where efficiency is measured not just in numbers, but in trust earned and relationships built.
Today, Summit serves Loan Officers across multiple states, always keeping one core promise: To support the way you do business, while always putting your clients first.
Scott Hesemann
Scott’s journey into mortgage processing began with an unusual advantage: a decade of experience in the hospitality industry. That background sharpened his instincts for client service, team dynamics, and operational flow.
When he moved into mortgage, he brought that same drive for excellence—quickly becoming proficient in originating and processing FHA, VA, conventional, DPA, and non-QM loans. With over ten years in the mortgage space, Scott has mastered both the technical and relational sides of the business
Recognizing a gap in the industry for an operation that truly balanced competence, speed, and client care, Scott co-founded Summit Processing. He saw an opportunity to build something different—something better. By combining his love for numbers with his ability to create meaningful client experiences, he’s built a processing model that’s both efficient and highly effective.
Scott’s vision is to design a mortgage platform that simplifies the lives of loan officers—removing friction, increasing efficiency, and delivering results at scale. At Summit, that vision is being executed every day, through thoughtful systems and a relentless commitment to getting the job done right.
Armin Javidi
With over a decade in the mortgage industry, Armin brings a rare blend of firsthand loan experience and operational leadership to Summit Processing. He began his career as a Loan Officer Assistant, quickly rising through the ranks to become a Processor, and eventually a seasoned Operations Manager.
His experience spans every market climate—from the intensity of the 2016–2017 boom to the historic volume of 2020–2021—where he personally handled over 2,000 Down Payment Assistance FHA loans.
That kind of trial-by-fire training, as Armin likes to say, is the Navy SEAL school of mortgage processing.
Early on, Armin realized his strengths weren’t in chasing down leads, but in building systems and solving problems behind the scenes. He understood how to structure a deal, connect with clients, and guide files across the finish line—not just accurately, but with speed and efficiency. That insight led him to carve out his own path, turning his skills into strategy as the architect behind Summit’s operations.
Today, Armin’s mission is clear: to build a competent and trustworthy processing operation that excels in turning applications into closings—fast. Summit Processing is the platform where that vision is being realized, powered by his belief that great systems and great people can create incredible results.
